In many countries, schools have severe problems with student behaviour. What do you think are the causes of this? What solutions can you suggest?

Causes: - Lack of parental attention - Working parents - Broken families/Single parenting/ divorced parents/conflicting parents - Drug abuse - Lack of moral values  - Influence of modern technology and media - Freedom and money - Strict parenting Solutions: - Moral studies - Counselling sessions - Behavioural therapy - Supervised usage of media  - Care and attention from the family side - Friendly approach  - Patience to listen to their problems

When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Agree - traditional skills get outdated; slower than modern machinery - Internet helped to provide education to children in remote areas - Advancements are essential as it increases life expectancy and lowers mortality rate. Disagree - Traditional skills require fewer resources. - will run even in the absence of power supply - simple, Not sophisticated. - Unique, the pride of a nation - Traditional foods are healthy  - Panacea 

The position of women in society has changed markedly in the last twenty years. Many of the problems young people now experience, such as juvenile delinquency, arise from the fact that many married women now work and are not at home to care for their children. Without capital punishment (the death penalty) our lives are less secure and crimes of violence increase. Capital punishment is essential to control violence in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

 Agree - Fear of law and pain from punishments prevent people from committing crimes - Justice is ensured to the victims - Culprits will not get a chance to repeat crimes Disagree - Unemployment rate should be negligible. - Social justice and equality needs to be ensured - Counselling and rehabilitation for the ones faced drug abuse  - Family bonding and moral values from young age 

Prevention is better than cure. Out of a country’s health budget, a large proportion should be diverted from treatment to spending on health education and prevention measures. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

- Preventive methods are cheaper than the treatment cost - Preventive methods are easier compared to the treatment methodologies - Preventable diseases can be eradicated by awareness  - Lifestyle diseases can be kept under control - Pandemics or epidemics or outbreaks can end up in huge financial loss. 

Fatherhood ought to be emphasized as much as motherhood. The idea that women are solely responsible for deciding whether or not to have babies leads on to the idea that they are also responsible for bringing the children up.

 Agree - The products in advertisements are highly attractive and flawless - Ads make the product trendy in the market - The presentation, music and the rhymes of advertisements create a long lasting impact on people - Celebrity appearances in commercials increases its reach and popularity - Children are very much moved by the slogans and flashy boards - commercials attract people by special offers and discounts  Disagree - People look at the quality of the product before purchase - People keep an eye on their monthly budget and ensures that they are not spending beyond it - People are aware that the advertisements are marketing tactics - People check reviews and surveys before buying a product rather than blindly following the promotions
